Cyclicity of thought

They say the moon affects our consciousness, making us a little _more_. More what? Depends on ourselves. On the full moon the Beast awakens in the werewolf and the weirdness in the insane. Or are we talking about tides shaking the waves of the world's oceans - and drawing blood to the head? In Tarot, the Moon is a confused mind, a foggy road leading to no one knows where. And the Moon is a cycle also, a repeated change in the position and area of the illuminated surface.
But in fact, this is not about her. She is only a symbol that speaks of the endless and vague movement of thoughts in a circle. Such thoughts, the dance of which we sometimes cannot stop - they stitch our skulls, rivet to ourselves, put down roots and circle chaotically, crushing consciousness, sometimes subsiding, but returning again. They sit firmly across the head, stopping any movement except their own, strive to occupy all the space and leave no opportunity to pull them out - like a butterfly pinned with a pin. And most importantly, they do not lead anywhere.

So is there a way out of this circle?
